I met Masayoshi Nakajo for the first time when he was 53 or 54 years old. Now growing over that age myself (56) and looking back, he is the one who taught me how interesting, fun and deep the world of graphic design is. When I was in my early twenties, I took the liberty of letting myself visit Nakajo’s office whenever I want, and that has shaped who I am today.
This is a design I used to create about 30 years ago. I was struck by Nakajo’s “Blue Marine Contest” poster silk-screened in a single color of blue, and tried to make a similar monochromatic poster myself. At that time, I made postcards and long, vertical posters, but this time I am making posters with B series paper sizes, such as B1. Once they are done, I’ll compare them side by side with Nakajo’s one. - Katsunori Aoki

¹The pricing system of original posters at POSTERS raises by rareness of editions. Price of a poster increases when stock reduces to less than 10. ²Customers who purchases an A0/A1/B0/B1 size poster can receive a mini B4 size poster for free.
●Domestic shipping of posters will take 3-4 weeks time (4 weeks for framed posters and 3 weeks for posters without framing) upon order. Global shipping takes 3 weeks upon order.Shipping costs will be charged separately. More details can be found here. ●For products without framing, a total of up to three products with same sizes and specifications will be shipped together in one package. ●International shipping is only available for products without framing (sent rolled up). Please note that we will cancel your order if it includes items not eligible for international shipping. ●For international shipping, customers are responsible for the customs duty, customs clearance fees and taxes where applicable. These fees should be paid together to the carrier when you receive your order.
