Poster Specifications

Q1.
Sizes of the posters

  • POSTERS Original
    Sizes can be chosen from A series (A0 to A2) and B series (B0 to B2). Some sizes may not be available depending on the poster. Please check each product page for details.
  • Archive Collection
    Each poster has different sizes. Please check each product page for details.

Q2.
Framing service

We offer a framing service for our posters as an option. Simple aluminum frames which complement the posters are available in 4 colors.

  • Color: Hairline Silver, Hairline Gold, Black, White
    * Only wooden frames are available for A0 and B0 sizes.

Appearance of the posters

The product images are displayed as close as possible to the actual posters, but the appearance may vary depending on the model and settings of your device. Please note that the color tone in real life may not completely match.

Light resistance of the posters

The UV inkjet printing that we use to print POSTERS Original posters has great friction resistance. It uses ultra-violet lights to instantly cure weatherproof ink as it is printed, providing strong durability against deterioration by direct sunlight and other causes. However, this does not mean that all deterioration of the fabric will be prevented. For Archive Collection, we use different papers and printing methods depending on the poster. Please refrain from displaying the posters for a long period of time under strong light that contains ultraviolet light. We also recommend acrylic framing to protect the poster.

Where and how to store the poster

For customers who purchase only posters, the delivery will be in a cardboard box package. If you would like to store it as is, avoid humidity or exposure to direct sunlight. As framing can minimize damage caused by aging deterioration or oxidation, it is highly recommended especially for one-of-a-kind, fragile or invaluable pieces.

Payments

Payments can be made by credit card and PayPal.

  • Credit card payments
    Available payment methods include VISA, MASTER, JCB and American Express.
    * Your spending limit will depend on the contract you have with your credit card company.
  • Shop Pay payments
  • Google Pay payments
  • PayPal payments
    The spending limit is 1 million Japanese Yen.
  • Apple Pay payments
    To display the Apple Pay button, you need to use Safari with iOS 12.1 or macOS 10.14.1 on one of the following devices:
    -iPhone (SE, 6, 6 Plus, or later)
    -iPad (Pro, Air 2, Mini 3, or later)
    -Apple Watch
    -MacBook Pro with Touch ID
    -All Mac models (2012 and later) and iPhone or Apple Watch with Apple Pay enabled

If you do not receive an order confirmation email

Shipping

Delivery options and available countries and regions

  • Domestic shipping: Applicable for all products
    Products will be shipped by Yamato Transport or Seino Transportation. Please note that the date and time of delivery cannot specifically be requested.
  • International shipping: Only applicable for products without framing (sent rolled up)
    Products will be shipped by EMS (Express Mail Service). Shipping is limited to countries and regions that can handle the EMS maximum package size (maximum: length 1.50 meters for any one dimension, length and girth combined 3 meters, weight 30kg). Handling may be restricted in some countries and regions. For international shipping, customers are responsible for the customs duty, customs clearance fees and taxes where applicable. The carrier will pay for the customs duty and applicable taxes on behalf of the customer. This will be claimed from customers with a service fee upon arrival of the delivery. Please note the carrier will claim these costs upon delivery.

* We cannot provide shipping to the customer’s overseas addresses for those who live in Japan or to the customer’s domestic addresses for those who live abroad.

Shipping fees

Customers are responsible for all shipping fees for both domestic and international shipping. For international shipping, the carrier will pay for the customs duty and applicable taxes on behalf of the customer. This will be claimed from customers with a service fee upon arrival of the delivery. Please take note of this before placing an order.

Changing the delivery address after the order is confirmed

You cannot change your delivery address via the website after confirming your order. Please contact us via Inquiry Form.
*Please note that the delivery address cannot be changed if we receive your inquiry after the product has been shipped.

Return policy

Return policy

After receiving the package, please open immediately and check the condition of the product. We will accept returns or exchanges if the request is made within 7 days of receiving the package. Please note that we can only accept returns or exchanges if one of the following conditions is applicable.

  1. When the products have any defects
  2. When the product that arrived does not match your order
  3. When it is obvious that the product was damaged during its delivery

Startbahn Cert. and Value guarantees of posters

Startbahn Cert.

POSTERS issues a digital certificate for its original posters through Startbahn Cert., a certificate-issuing service developed and operated by Startbahn, Inc.. This certificate safely tracks and manages all the records of artworks on a blockchain. Once the artwork arrives, an owner can scan the IC Tag on the enclosed certificate with his/her smartphone to view the recorded information and certify the ownership of the artwork.

How to create an account for Startbahn Cert. and instructions for logging in

Account registration on Startbahn Cert. is required for the purchase of POSTERS Original posters. You can do so when placing an order. When the poster is printed, the owner is registered as POSTERS on a blockchain. We will switch the ownership to you during the time between the purchase and the delivery. This will link your membership information with the product information. This information will be recorded on a blockchain and will be accessible from devices such as smartphones.

How to check registered information on Startbahn Cert.

You can use your smartphone to scan the IC tag on the certificate that comes with the POSTERS Original posters to view the certificate information that has been recorded on a blockchain.

How to make use of the certificate

You can use your smartphone to scan the IC tag on the certificate that comes with the POSTERS Original posters to view the certificate information, as well as to certify the ownership of the artwork. The certificate will also be required when transferring the poster, so please keep it in a safe place. Following the rules stated in Startbahn Cert. when purchasing and reselling the artwork will contribute to the respect and support of the artist’s will.

Notes on letting go of the artwork

When transferring or reselling the artwork to the next owner, you need to process the transfer of the digital certificate in Starbahn Cert. and send the artwork to the next owner accompanied by the physical certificate with the IC tag.

Membership information

If you do not receive the registration confirmation email

The registration confirmation email will be sent from the email address shop@posters-ofs.jp.

How to change your membership information

You cannot change your membership information such as the email address and postal address on the website. Please contact us via Inquiry Form.

If you forget your password

Please click “Forgot your password?” in the login page and enter your registered email address and click Recover button. Please access the password reset page from the link provided in the automated email to create a new password.

Cancelling your membership

You cannot delete your membership information on the website. Please contact us via Inquiry Form.

Transferring and reselling POSTERS Original posters

We hope customers will keep possession of our posters created from the heart by the artists for as long as possible, though we understand that there may be times when they are transferred to family or friends, or resold for various reasons. In this case, please transfer the ownership and change the owner on Startbahn Cert. If this process is not completed, the ownership on a blockchain will not be updated and will remain as the previous owner. Please make sure to transfer the ownership in order to keep track of the artwork’s provenance as well as to continue to preserve its value.
