Cover of a photo book published on the occasion of the 2nd Daido Moriyama exhibition at Taka Ishii Gallery in 1997. The typography for the kanji character “hunter” created at that time later developed into the Hermes font used for a series of advertisements expressing the brand concept of “touching the essence” for the opening of the Ginza flagship store that year (2001), at the request of Hermes. The typography for “Strange Hotel” and “Eyeful” also has its roots here. Printed by GRAPH
